Some Like it on Top

To all of you hipsters, as well as true PBR lovers out there, the Sundown Saloon at the base of the Rocky Mountains in Boulder, CO is the #1 seller of Blue Ribbon in the USA for the third straight year. Word from the source is that the second place bar came nowhere near our numbers, we beat them out by almost 500 kegs. Yes, 500 kegs - that's a lot of beer, about 3-4 months worth for us. I'm not bragging, I don't own the joint or make it what it is, but I'm damn proud to sling drinks here and I feel that not only is it a staple in the community having been here for 30+ years, but it truly is one of the best bars in the Denver metro area. A true, unchanged dive bar surrounded by yuppie restaurants and lame watering holes. In a town that continuously drives blue collar people out due to the amount of wealth living here, the "Downer" is one of the last standing places you can get loaded for less than $15.

The smell and atmosphere keeps the frat boys and gold diggin' bitches out and the real people in, for the most part....

If you're ever rolling through on two wheels, stop in, the first beer is on me.

Cheers -

Crazy Jim

Our good friend CJ Allan and his bad-ass Knuckle chop back in the day. What a talented guy, and a great friend. About as solid of a biker than anyone I've ever met.

With The Territory

Ever been in a cage staring down a big storm in front of you? Imagine being on two wheels with no front fender and windshield.

It's always the big ones you remember most.

Last Year

...this weekend, Irish Rich and I were on our way to Arizona for the Love Party and to visit our good friend Doug. Good times.
